Seafood Seasoning Buttered Rice
Ingredients
1/2 cup rice(white or brown)
1 Cup water
1 Tbsp butter/ olive oil
Running out of Ridgeline Spice Seafood Seasoning?
We wanted to offer an alternative to the classic Old Bay seafood seasoning. This seasoning blend is perfect for any filet of fish, shellfish, or crustacean. The hints of lemon and dill in this blend make for a delicious flavor profile.
Ingredients: Celery Salt, Lemon Peel, Garlic, Dill, Coriander
Directions
Measure 1/2 cup of rice into a colander (strainer as I called them growing up), and rinse the rice under cold water.
Place washed rice in a medium saucepan and add 1 cup of water. Place the saucepan on medium-high heat. Once the water is boiling remove pan from heat, and set aside with lid on for the rice to absorb the water (approx. 15-20 minutes).
When all the water is absorbed stir rice gently with a fork, while still hot add 1Tbsp of butter (may sub olive oil) and 1 Tbsp Ridgeline Spice Seafood Seasoning. Stir to combine and enjoy!
