Taco Soup

Ingredients

  • 1lb of lean ground beef or 2 chicken breasts

  • 1 medium yellow onion

  • 32oz of chicken stock or chicken bone broth

  • 1 -14 oz can of black beans

  • 1 -14oz can of fire roasted diced tomatoes

  • 1 -14oz can of corn (optional)

  • 1 -4oz can of diced green chiles

  • 1-2 Tbsp of Ridgeline Spice Taco Seasoning

 

Directions

This recipe can be thrown in the crockpot altogether, and cooked on low for 8 hours or high for 4 hours. Checking and stirring ingredients occasionally.

  1. In a large pot either boil two chicken breasts or brown 1lb of lean ground beef.

  2. Drain the chicken and shred with a fork. If using ground beef drain the fat and set aside.
